During Problem Gambling Awareness Month, FanDuel is increasing its dedication to promoting responsible gambling and will be using some of the funds to assist individuals in Illinois who are in need.
Today, the company has announced that it will be:
- Donating $100,000 to the National Council on Problem Gambling.
- The organization is increasing its support for the International Center for Responsible Gaming to finance innovative research aimed at gaining insight into gambling habits in the United States.
- Improving its responsible gaming ambassador program, the company will now feature responsible gambling-themed video content on the social media platforms of RG ambassadors Amanda Serrano and Craig Carton. Additionally, Craig Carton’s “Responsible Gaming College Tour” will make more stops to promote responsible gaming.
- Advertising the PGA Tour’s new campaign for Problem Gambling Awareness Month on FanDuel TV and social media platforms.
FanDuel Group CEO Amy Howe announced that this March will be the 20th anniversary of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, and the company will once again showcase its commitment to being a responsible operator. Howe emphasized the importance of collaborating with partners to raise awareness about responsible gaming and encourage customers to utilize FanDuel’s Play Well tools for a safer gaming experience.
FanDuel’s $100,000 donation supports NCPG’s Agility Grants program
FanDuel’s generous donation of $100,000 will support the NCPG’s Agility Grants program in collaboration with the NFL Foundation, which offers funding to nonprofit organizations nationwide. The goal is to expand problem gambling prevention services to areas that are currently underserved.

FanDuel has also heightened its backing of the ICRG’s research aimed at comprehending gambling behavior.
The ICRG and FanDuel are working to enhance industry tools that can detect potential harm, reduce risk, and enhance responsible gambling initiatives.
Arthur Paikowsky, president of ICRG, praised FanDuel for its significant support in promoting important research. He commended the company for its steadfast commitment to advocating responsible gaming and raising awareness about it.
FanDuel RG ambassador touring colleges
The responsible gambling ambassador program at FanDuel features TV host and WFAN radio personality Craig Carton, as well as seven-division boxing champion Amanda Serrano.
Carton is currently on a “Responsible Gaming College Tour” in the northeastern US where he is focused on raising awareness and educating college students about the dangers of problem gambling.
Carton expressed his excitement for promoting a culture of responsible gaming with FanDuel, whether it be by connecting with young adults on campus or promoting safer play among sports fans on social media.
Additionally, Serrano and Carton will be collaborating to share video content on their individual social media platforms. Their objective is to emphasize the significance of responsible gaming for sports enthusiasts and to promote the utilization of FanDuel’s Play Well resources among bettors.

- Establish restrictions on the amount of money you are allowed to deposit within a specific timeframe.
- Restrict the amount you are able to bet within a specific time frame.
- Implement a break from gambling.
- Establish a cap on the highest amount you can wager in one bet.
- Set a limit on the amount of time you are allowed to spend on FanDuel apps each day.
FanDuel and Flutter’s other international divisions have set a lofty goal: to have 75% of active online customers using at least one Play Well tool by 2030. Additionally, they aim to have at least 50% of customers utilizing a Play Well tool by 2026.
