Iowans have the opportunity to enter a lottery right now to win tickets to the Field of Dreams game, with winners being announced on Aug. 2. It is important to note that winning the lottery does not guarantee the purchase of tickets for the game.
Season ticket holders of the White Sox were also sent an email inviting them to participate in the lottery, even though the MLB’s official website specified that only residents of Iowa are eligible to register. No credit card details are required for registration.
