Hard Rock affectionately calls its temporary casino employees “Band members.” There are still several job openings available, and approximately 250 of these “Band members” are needed to kick off operations successfully.
Once completed, the temporary casino has the potential to include 736 slot machines and two dining establishments. The refurbishment of Giovanini’s area is estimated to cost around $8.8 million.
The temporary game could be operational for a duration of 18 to 24 months.
The continuous casino, what about it?
The final building plans for Hard Rock’s permanent facility must be approved by the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) before construction can begin, and this approval should be expedited.
The estimated cost of the project is $310 million, with the Hard Rock expected to be located at the intersection of State Street and I-90. It is anticipated that over 1,000 full and part-time jobs will be created. The temporary casino will be situated less than an hour away.
The game will include a Hard Rock Live entertainment zone and a gaming area measuring 64,000 square feet.
It seems like a worthwhile endeavor, and Hard Rock & rsquo, Illinois’ top achievement, may not be the ultimate objective.
The Chicago game passport was put up for bid by Hard Rock.
The city of Chicago is currently reviewing five casino license proposals, including one submitted by Hard Rock.
At present, the proposed location for Hard Rock is unknown. Rush Street Gaming and Bally have both submitted bids for the project.
