Chicagoans, can you sense it? The unpredictable weather, from snow to sunshine to torrential downpours, can only mean one thing – spring is here! And with the arrival of spring comes exciting chances to place bets on baseball at an Illinois sportsbook. The Chicago Cubs will kick off their home season against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday at Wrigley Field, which will unveil a number of enhancements and modifications, including the addition of a new DraftKings sportsbook.
Wrigleyville’s new concessions
This year at Wrigley Field, fans can look forward to a variety of new food options. The park recently partnered with Coca-Cola, reintroducing Coke products to Wrigley for the first time in over four decades.
Exciting new food choices will now be offered at concession stands all around the stadium. Some of the featured items on the updated menu are:
- Loaded Greek fries
- A burger brat
- Crispy chicken bao buns

- Crispy chicken torta
Small Cheval is one of the new additions coming to Wrigley Field in 2025. This retro-style burger joint will be located in the Budweiser Bleachers, next to the iconic Hot Doug’s. Small Cheval already has multiple locations in different Chicago neighborhoods such as Wicker Park, Hyde Park, and Old Town, with their flagship restaurant, Au Cheval, in the West Loop. Known for serving some of the best burgers in Chicago, Small Cheval offers a smaller version of the famous Au Cheval burger. Trust me, they’re delicious and will be a fantastic addition to your game day food options.

The DraftKings Sportsbook is the hot topic in town, particularly in the Wrigleyville neighborhood. But there’s a new addition right above it.
The new NÜTRL Zone, located atop the sportsbook, offers an outdoor terrace with a variety of concession options. This new addition is the result of a partnership between the Chicago Cubs and NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer.
What else is new at Wrigley this season?
DraftKings Sportsbook is the largest sportsbook in any Chicago sporting venue and is set to be the first retail sportsbook to open. An opening date has not been announced yet, but it is anticipated to start accepting bets later this year pending approval from the Illinois Gaming Board.

During your wait, take a look at the MLB odds for the Cubs, their cross-town rivals the White Sox, or any other team in the league.
Wrigley is also planning to host a diverse range of promotions during the 2025 season.
